Join us for a docent-led tour of the historic Alamo Cemetery. The Alamo cemetery in Danville has some of the oldest pioneer families buried within its grounds, dating back to 1856. We have arranged for several docents from the Museum of the San Ramon Valley to provide us with a private group tour of the grounds of this historic and picturesque cemetery, and if we are lucky, the docents may just dress up as the ghosts of the pioneers and tell you their life stories! The tour will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will last approximately one hour. The Museum requests a $5 donation per person. The cemetery is laid out on a steep incline, so be advised that there will be some uphill walking and stairs involved in our tour. Following the tour, we plan to have lunch at Revel Kitchen & Bar, located at 331 Hartz Avenue in Danville.
